Inside the Ultra Que is heavy-duty 12-gauge welded steel with a 22-gauge stainless exterior and refractory ceramic-fiber insulation rated to a high 1,800 degrees. A 46,000 BTU burner with electronic ignition runs on propane or natural gas, and just three one-pound chunks of wood deliver up to six hours of smoking. Two sliding racks at 20.5″ x 26.5″ give you 8 square feet of surface, plenty for ribs, a couple of pork butts, or a holiday turkey, and they lift out for easy cleaning. The thermostat covers 100 to 325 degrees with an upper-limit safety switch. It is built and backed by Ole Hickory Pits in Missouri.
