The Ole Hickory EL-EW smoker is a top-tier end-loading rotisserie pit set apart by its dual convection motors, built for barbecue restaurants and high-volume caterers who want the most even cook Ole Hickory makes. With 15 rotating racks and 60 square feet of cooking surface, it pairs serious capacity with two-fan circulation that wipes out cold spots from front to back.
Twin-fan convection for edge-to-edge consistency
Where most pits use a single convection motor, the EL-EW runs two 1/4 HP motors with 10-inch fan blades, blending heat and smoke for exceptional product consistency across all 15 racks at 12″ x 48″. The cabinet is heavy-duty 12-gauge welded steel inside with a 22-gauge stainless exterior and mineral-wool insulation rated to 1,200 degrees, while a 65,000 BTU burner with electronic ignition runs on propane or natural gas. End loading lets you roll full racks straight in, and a thermostat range of 100 to 325 degrees with an upper-limit safety switch keeps long cooks dialed in. This is built and backed by Ole Hickory Pits in Missouri.
